GTA V delayed until September

People waiting for the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series are going to have to wait a little longer. Announced today in a blog post by Rockstar Games, GTA V, the next chapter in the GTA saga, won’t be coming out until September of this year for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, September 17th to be exact.

Originally GTA V was scheduled to come out this spring but Rockstar has decided to push back the release to do a little more polishing on their project to really gave the players a great game.

While some people won’t really care, others have gone so far as to blast a Rockstar Games blog with colorful posts and language sharing their displeasure with the news that they will actually have to have a life this summer and wait longer for GTA V to arrive.

The Rockstar Games blog post said that the massively popular game, “needs a little more polish to be of the standard we, and more importantly, you require.” So naturally instead of just accepting that news and patiently waiting, 2,500 posts were commented on the post showing displeasure with the set back. Some of the comments were so negative thug a Rockstar Games representative had to amend the post and ask people to calm down with some of their “abusive” comments.

GTA V is allegedly going to be five times the size of Red Dead Redemption and take place in the fictional city of “Los Santos,” a knock off of Los Angeles. During the game players will have the opportunity to play the story from the view of three different characters and when players aren’t in a mission have the ability to go back and forth between characters and free roam.
